There are times when an incorrect word is used throughout a document. For example suppose you misspelled a place name like the Chamma river. Word has the ability find the mispelled word (Chamma) and replace it with the correct spelling (Chama).
The Following steps illustrate how to change the word "SPECIFICS" to "SPECIFIC" using the Replace text feature in Office 2007:

Open the file

From the "Home" tab in Word click "Replace"

Fill in "Find What:" with "SPECIFICS"
•4.
Fill in "Replace With:" with SPECIFIC
•5.
Click the "More" button

Click the "Match Case" box
•7.
Then click "Replace All"
